Yesterday, we enjoyed the beautiful Fall colors, and the ever appearing Christmas lights.  Such is the beauty of it still being Fall, but nearing Christmas time, and I'm loving it!

We celebrated our friend, Bobbie's, birthday.  We had a girl's day out...Bree, Bobbie, and I got our nails done.  Then Justin, Bree, Troy, me, Bobbie, and Steve went out for a nice dinner and we did some shopping.

I loved walking along the streets of downtown, taking in the Fall air (that was rather warm for this time of year), seeing the Christmas lights, laughing with our family and friends, and celebrating one of my best friends. 

We tried a new restaurant, that wasn't too high priced, and was great food.  We laughed.  We made memories.  It was awesome!

Then, on this Sunday morning, I'm still looking at my awesome toenails, as I have my morning coffee!

We spent Thankgiving morning with cups of coffee while watching the parade. Then we spent a relaxing evening over dinner with family and friends.

We're having Hibachi Chicken at our house this week, and it's so yummy!

Here's what I did to make this.

Ingredients:

4  boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (cut in bite-sized pieces)

2 medium zucchini, sliced in bite-sized pieces

1 to 2 onions, sliced in bite-sized pieces

2 cups sliced mushrooms

White rice

vegetable oil

soy sauce

butter (optional, for added flavor)

salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Cook chicken thoroughly.  Slice into bite-sized pieces.

2. Slice vegetables into bite sized pieces, and cook in a small amount of vegetable oil.

3. Cook rice according to directions on package.

4. Once all of these ingredients (in steps 1 thru 3) are finished, combine them all in a large pan and add soy sauce to desired flavor. Cook on low for approximately 5 minutes.

5. You may add "Yum Yum" sauce when serving.

This recipe is definitely so yummy!

It's Tuesday morning. The rain is coming down. I am scheduled to go into work late today.

Something you may or may not know about me...I struggle with anxiety. I'm thankful the Lord takes all of my anxiety and worries and puts them in their place. It's just my place to trust in Him, and it's His place to take care of everything that may be out of my control. He holds everything in His hands. The good and the bad times, He's in control, and it's in His hands.

These verses also teach me to be humble. Every gift I have is because of the Lord. I am so blessed, and I realize it!

My husband and I went to have dinner at a Japanese restaurant this evening. This is what was in my fortune cookie: "Good luck is the result of good planning."

Something to think about for the beginning of the week!

I don't believe in "luck," but I do believe the Lord blesses us tremendously in all sorts of ways. I also believe that everyone reaps what they sow. Your success is the result of your work and the Lord's blessings, and your work is the result of planning.
