Hello, Monday! The day after vacation. Today is sure to be crazy busy with a full day at work, laundry, house cleaning, grocery shopping, and all of that Monday stuff that life throws at me. I actually feel as my shirt says I "Can't Adult Today," but the Lord tells me otherwise. Actually. I started a Bible study today. It's called "All in All" By: Sophie Hudson. In that study we concentrated on these verses, and I'm loving them, and they're just right for my Monday!

Sometimes a girl just needs a vacation. Time away with her people she does life with. To splash in a pool. To relax. To recharge on life. That's where I'm at this weekend! We've taken a trip to Pigeon Forge.  With a stay at Wilderness at the Smokies.  There's been all kinds of water fun. There's been trips to Wonder Works and the Titanic. Vacation life. This new shirt ("Insert Coffee to Begin"). Relaxation. I'm more of a girl who likes relaxation and kicking back and doing nothing. These people of mine are very active people though. So. They pleaded for me to do a waterslide. And. I did. Especially since they had me convinced it was one of the easiest here. Yeah. Well. It was the second to the hardest one. And. At least they told me that after we finished the ride. And. We all four were in an intertube. Guess who got to ride it backwards. Yep, me! Love my people. They have my heart. Big time! We've also missed our fur babies.  Some great friends helped us by taking care of them while we've been gone.  Safe to say they missed my guy, and my guy missed them! Tomorrow it's back to regular day life.  Our blessed life.  The everyday life in which I love living with these people I share life with!

When they placed my daughter on my chest as she was breathing her first breaths of air in this great big world, I was thinking of how I was to take care of this little human. Now she's not so little anymore. She's in her last years of high school. And as I sat in this small town coffee shop, I was thinking of how she's grown up to be one of my best friends. We are so much like each other. It's like I'm staring in the mirror. She is one of the reasons God has given me life though. I'm sure of it! I am grateful that we got to have a Girls Day earlier this week.  We went to the spa and to this small town coffee shop, and we loved it!  Such a great time!
