Today, admist the piles of laundry left undone, the hole in our yard, the dirt dug up to fix a leak, the piles of stuff needing to be done, I'm thankful. Yes, I'm thankful for the clothes that are dirty...they mean our family has clothes to wear (and once this leak is finished later today these dirty clothes will be clean once again). I'm thankful for the hole in our yard...we're making progress on fixing this nasty leak. I'm even thankful for the leak (although I'll be very, very happy when it's fixed), because this means we're blessed with water.
Sometimes there is beauty in the messes of life, we just have to look a little closer at the picture we're painting!
