A Fun Saturday, Celebrating a Friend's Birthday!

11/29/2015
Yesterday, we enjoyed the beautiful Fall colors, and the ever appearing Christmas lights.  Such is the beauty of it still being Fall, but nearing Christmas time, and I'm loving it! We celebrated our friend, Bobbie's, birthday.  We had a girl's day out...Bree, Bobbie, and I got our nails done.  Then Justin, Bree, Troy, me, Bobbie, and Steve went out for a nice dinner...

Throw Pillows

11/23/2015
So, I've been wanting to try to make throw pillows for awhile now. Not only are they useful when lounging around the house, they add that extra pop of color to our home. These are so easy to change out to other throw pillows as well to go along with the season, the holiday, or whatever! So...I've been making pillows for the Fall...

It may be a day for work and school, but we have a purpose.  There's a purpose in everything we do. It's how we make the most of that purpose that counts.  We can see the good in life, and be...

It's Veterans Day!

11/11/2015
Today, I'm thankful.  I'm thankful for a day to sit at home, have an extra big cup of coffee, and finish a book.  I'm thankful for the extra time I get today to relax and just be.  In fact, Maisy and I are enjoying a nice, relaxing day at home.  She has her bed in her crate...the door to the crate usually stays...

Date Night with My Husband!

11/01/2015
My husband and I went to have dinner at a Japanese restaurant this evening. This is what was in my fortune cookie: "Good luck is the result of good planning." Something to think about for the beginning of the week! I don't believe in "luck," but I do believe the Lord blesses us tremendously in all sorts of ways. I also believe that...
